    Punta Tombo

    We depart from the cruise port to the largest continental reserve of penguins of Magellan Punta Tombo. Penguins, grey or southern cooking gulls, royal and black-necked or rock cormorants, Antarctic pigeons and some species of giant gulls and petrels coexist in this wildlife reserve, and guanacos are sometimes observed choiques, piches and maras. Every year the penguins arrive at this place, nest, mate and have their young, in the reserve we will hear squeals that is the way to communicate. We will also observe the fights between males for nests, for females or simply to mark their territory.
