Pickup at the meeting point. The guide will pick you up and take you to the reserve for lunch and a rest. You'll be able to take photos of the birds arriving at the feeders, such as Brown Violetear, Santa Marta Blossomcrown, Crowned Woodnymph, Rusty Flowerpiercer, Bay-headed Tanager, Black-headed Tanager, Santa Marta Brushfinch, and more.
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up at the reserve and take you to various locations to look for special birds, including the Santa Marta Warbler, Santa Marta Brushfinch, Santa Marta Parakeet, Santa Marta Antpitta, and Santa Marta Brush Tyrant. Lunch and continue in the field looking for special birds. Rest.
Early in the morning, your guide will pick you up from the reserve and take you to various locations in the middle and down the Sierra Nevada mountains to photograph rare birds. Lunch and head to another reserve to photograph Toucans, Oropendulas, and more. Rest
We leave very early in the morning, arriving in the local indigenous community of Wayuus in 3 hours. There, you will photograph the Vermilion Cardinal and Orinocan Saltator among others. Lunch and head to the Santuario de Fauna Y Flora los Flamencos, where you take a boat and focus on searching for the Sanctuary's seabirds, including flocks of flamingos, the slender, pink-plumaged birds that give this protected area its name, and some other birds. Come back to Santa Marta, rest.
