Built back in 1559, Yu Garden is Shanghai’s largest and most famous classical garden. The surrounding bazaar is packed with little shops and stalls offering souvenirs, handmade goods, folk art and tasty local snacks. Next, we’ll head over to Jade Buddha Temple, a historic site constructed during the Qing Dynasty.

    The next destination will be Jade Buddha Temple, which was built in Qing Dynasty. It is one of the most famous Buddhist Temples in Shanghai. There are two jade Buddha statues (one sitting and one reclining) imported to Shanghai from Burma cross the sea.
