After check in, you'll head to El Limón, the initial point of the rafting activity. There, you will receive safety instructions to enjoy your experience worry-free. Throughout 17 km (approx 10 mi.), you will be able to enjoy the scenery, stop to bird watch, float on the river with your lifejacket on, visit other waterfalls, and wander through the Valle de las Hadas. Additionally, you'll enjoy a typical regional snack. After the river experience, you'll visit La Recebera, an eco-tourism farm, where you will enjoy lunch.
To reach this breathtaking site, you'll embark on a hike through secondary forest trails, where you'll encounter towering trees and a rich diversity of flora. The trail is moderately challenging, rated between 3 and 4 on a scale of 1 to 5, with a slight incline. The hike typically takes around 1.5 hours, depending on your physical condition. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by a white sandy beach that complements the waterfall, creating an oasis in the heart of nature. The waterfall itself boasts a 60-meter drop, with an extensive area for recreational swimming and caves nestled in the rocky formation, adding to the scenic beauty. Your day begins with breakfast before transferring to the Arenales waterfall. After the hike, you can enjoy a refreshing swim in the waterfall's pool and explore the surrounding area. Following this invigorating experience, you'll have lunch and then return for accommodation and dinner, rounding off a day immersed in the natural splendor of Arenales.
