Day 1: Windhoek • City & Katutura Township Tour o Visit key historical sites: Christ Church, Ink Palace, Parliament Gardens, and the Old Fort. o Explore Katutura Township, home to over two-thirds of Windhoek’s population, to experience local culture.
Day 2: Fish River Canyon • Largest canyon in Africa, featuring dramatic landscapes and a variety of trails and viewpoints. • Activities: o Hiking: Fish River Trail (85 km, 4-5 days), shorter canyon rim walks. o Viewpoints: Hobas rest camp and scenic spots along the rim. o Wildlife: Baboons, 240+ bird species, reptiles, and butterflies. o Other activities: Hot springs, scenic flights, mule trekking, horse riding, nature drives.
Day 3: Sossusvlei • Located in the Namib-Naukluft National Park, featuring towering red dunes and white salt pans. • Attractions: Dune 45, Hiddenvlei, Big Daddy, Deadvlei, Sesriem Canyon, and petrified dunes. • Activities: Quad-biking, nature walks, hot-air balloon rides.
4x4 Excursion to Sandwich Harbour: Flamingoes, wetland birds, wildlife spotting.
Day 5: Swakopmund • Swakopmund: A coastal city with colonial architecture, desert adventures, and marine experiences. • Top Activities: o Walvis Bay Marine Big 5 Catamaran Tour (dolphins, whales, seals, seabirds, with oysters & champagne). o Quad Biking & Sandboarding in the dunes. o Mondesa Township Tour: Cultural immersion, local food tasting. o Scenic Desert Quad Bike Tour: through dunes and Swakopmund Riverbed.
Day 6: Etosha National Park • One of Africa’s largest national parks, home to diverse wildlife. • Wildlife highlights: Elephants, black rhinos, lions, leopards, giraffes, and over 340 bird species (including flamingos, ostriches, and bee-eaters). • Activities: Game drives (full or half-day), self-drive safaris, walking safaris, stargazing, and camping.
