Our eco-lodge in Iquitos can accommodate groups of up to sixty travelers. Likewise, we specialize in small group expeditions that will allow each traveler to have a closer experience with nature, enjoying the best of the Amazon. On the other hand, if you travel alone, you can stay in a private room and share the excursions with other groups, taking into account that the group must be six people.

    We will pick you up from the Iquitos airport or your hotel. We will then head to the town of Puerto Nanay (also known as Bellavista port) to board a boat to our Tucan Jungle Expedition. We will be sailing around 70 km. During the trip we will see some animals such as turtles and alligators. Once at our hostel, we will have lunch. Our next stop will be Monkey Island. This island is home to different species of monkeys, such as the capuchin monkey, the masked marmoset, the woolly monkey. We can also spot snakes, "mata mata" turtles and river dolphins. Next, we will return to our lodge for dinner. At night, we will have a guided walk to observe insects, birds, lizards and other nocturnal animals.

    After having a traditional breakfast, we will sail towards the Amazon Basin. Once there, we will take a wildlife watching tour. We will appreciate the flora and fauna that the rainforest has to offer us. We will then have lunch and sail back to the Amazon River to fish for piranhas and catfish. We will also see the Victoria Regia plants, the largest aquatic plants in the world. fishing in Pisaña Before returning to the Tucan Jungle Expedition lodge, we will stop to witness the sunset. After dinner at the lodge, we will take a short night excursion to spot alligators in their natural habitat.

    After breakfast, we will sail to the Palo Alto viewpoint. This watchtower allows visitors to observe the Amazon rainforest from three different levels. Afterwards, we will participate in a short canoe ride, with optional piranha fishing. We will also visit some of the lagoons that surround Palo Alto. After exploring the rainforest, we will return to Palo Alto for lunch. Then, we will have a short walk to see more jungle animals. We will then watch the sunset before returning to the Tucan Jungle Expedition lodge for dinner. After a short overnight tour, we'll return to Palo Alto to spend the night camping.

    We will leave early after breakfast. Afterwards, we will have a short tour through the jungle before returning to the Tucan Jungle Expedition lodge. We will have the opportunity to see the Giant Ceiba trees, one of the most emblematic plants of the Amazon rainforest. Then, we will travel back to the city of Iquitos. Once there, we will visit the Yaguas indigenous tribe. We will learn about the local customs of the inhabitants of the Amazon jungle. Finally, we will transfer you back to Iquitos city to leave in the hotel or airport the tour end at 5:30 pm
