We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 7:30 AM in a 4x4 vehicle and head toward the backside of Chachani Volcano. Around 10:00 AM we’ll arrive at Pampa Cañahuas, where your guide will provide safety instructions and get you ready for the climb. From here, begin a gentle 2-hour hike to the base camp at 5200 m, where we’ll set up tents and enjoy a light lunch (soup and pasta or canned goods). In the evening, relax with a hot infusion and rest under the clear Andean sky.

The adventure starts early at 2:00 AM with a hot breakfast to prepare for the final push. Begin the challenging ascent toward the summit of Chachani Volcano (6075 m). If conditions are favorable, you’ll reach the top around 5:00 AM. At the summit, enjoy free time to rest and admire spectacular views of the surrounding volcanoes: Coropuna, Ampato, Hualca Hualca, the active Sabancaya, Misti, and Ubinas. After soaking in the views, descend back to base camp with several stops along the way. From there, our 4x4 will take you back to Arequipa, arriving at your hotel around 7:00 PM.
