Witness the breathtaking sunset at Salar de Uyuni, often referred to as the mirror of the world, where the horizon transforms in a kaleidoscope of colors. As night falls, gaze up at a stunning blanket of stars and the Milky Way, creating an otherworldly experience in the heart of the Bolivian Andes. This tour offers an unforgettable adventure across the largest salt flat, stretching over 11,000 km, where you can explore unique wildlife and ecosystems. Don’t miss the chance to marvel at this natural wonder during the rainy season when the mirror effect is at its peak.
Please wait in the hotel lobby. Our guide will contact you a few minutes before arriving at your hotel.
We start with pick-up from your hotel in Uyuni (4:00 p.m.) to head into the Salar de Uyuni. There we will wait for the sunset while taking photographs. After reaching the best vantage point, we will begin to appreciate the immensity of the Milky Way and take photographs with a beautiful starry background. Once the tour is over, we will return to the city of Uyuni, dropping you off at your hotel, terminal, or airport. Note: The entire salt flat is highly reflective, and during the rainy season (December–May), there is a thin layer of water that creates a mirror effect. Our stargazing tours operate normally throughout the year except on full moon nights, as the brightness of the full moon obscures the stars and prevents them from being visible.
