Itinerary

    Chucuito

    At the scheduled time, we will pick you up from your hotel in Puno to begin this fascinating journey through the southern region. Our first stop will be Chucuito, where we will explore its archaeological heritage and visit the famous Temple of Fertility. We will then continue to the Molloco Chullpas, impressive pre-Columbian funerary structures, followed by a visit to the traditional waru waru, an ingenious Andean agricultural system designed to protect crops from frost. Next, we will visit Aramu Muru, also known as the Gate of the Gods, an enigmatic stone site surrounded by ancient legends and traditions. Our final stop will be Juli, known as the Rome of Latin America. Here, we will explore its historic temples, including San Pedro, San Juan de Letrán, and Santo Domingo, and admire their remarkable Cusco School artwork.
