Morning: 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Afternoon: 3:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. We will begin the tour with hotel pickup and a visit to the Orquídea Chocolate Factory, where we will learn about the chocolate-making process, the different varieties produced, and their commercialization process. Next, we will visit an artisanal cigar factory, where we will discover the traditional process of producing these internationally recognized cigars. Finally, we will visit the Selva Viva Animal Rescue Center, a facility dedicated to the care and protection of wild animals that have suffered mistreatment or are in vulnerable conditions. Here, we will learn about their rehabilitation and conservation efforts, including their eventual return to their natural habitat. At the end of the tour, we will return by vehicle to Tarapoto, where the activity will conclude. Important: Due to ongoing work at the Urkus Animal Rescue Center, this visit has been temporarily replaced by the Selva Viva Animal Rescue Center.
