The guide will contact the passenger via the WhatsApp number provided on the platform or will call them by name 5 to 10 minutes beforehand. The passenger should wait under the clock located in the center of the Plaza de Armas in Puerto Maldonado.
What to expect

One of the newest activities you can enjoy in Tambopata is piranha fishing, now available at 100%! This is a sport fishing experience, carefully designed to protect the delicate ecosystem of Lake Yacumama.
This large and beautiful lake, rich in flora and fauna, is an ideal place for birdwatching, especially macaws, parrots, and parakeets — sometimes seen in flocks of over 200 birds.
The journey begins with a 25-minute drive from the main square. Upon arrival, a local community member will welcome you and provide eco-friendly fishing rods and bait for the piranhas. From there, enjoy a 7-minute walk through the forest to reach a canoe that holds up to seven passengers.
At the entrance to Lake Yacumama, you may be greeted by a calm caiman, often curious and friendly enough to pose for photos.
