    Tambopata River

    At 3:00 AM, we will pick you up and travel for approximately one hour to the village of Filadelfia, where our boat will be waiting to begin the river expedition into the Tambopata National Reserve. We will travel upstream toward the Chuncho sector, home to one of the region’s most impressive wildlife spectacles. On days with favorable weather conditions, large numbers of colorful parrots and macaws gather at the clay lick, offering an excellent opportunity to observe these magnificent birds in their natural habitat and capture unforgettable photographs. At approximately 12:00 PM, we will begin our return journey.
