Once you reach the top, you’ll be rewarded with stunning panoramic views of the desert valley stretching far into the horizon. The best part? Coming back down! Jebel Um Ashreen – A Majestic Peak in Wadi Rum Rising 1,753 meters, Jebel Um Ashreen is one of Jordan’s highest peaks, towering over Wadi Rum’s golden sands. Its rugged crags, pinnacles, and domed uplands create a dramatic landscape rich in history and legend. The mountain's name, meaning "Mountain of the Twenty", comes from a tale of 20 lost travelers, some believed to have perished in a flash flood, while others fell victim to quicksand near a hidden water source. Over 2,000 years ago, the Nabataeans explored this mighty peak, leaving behind traces of their ancient presence.
