What to expect

You’ll be welcomed into our warm, curated and taken on a storytelling journey through the bold soul of Greece’s most iconic grape: Assyrtiko. With the help of archival material, we’ll explore its unique character, origin, and how it has shaped and survived Greek wine history. As the story unfolds, you’ll taste five distinct Assyrtiko wines, each paired with a thoughtfully curated dish that highlights and complements its flavour. All dishes are crafted with local, seasonal ingredients, connecting each bite to the landscape the wine comes from. Your tasting begins with Assyrtiko Voila (Heraklion, Crete) paired with cabbage rolls in egg and lemon sauce. We continue with Antara-Vaptistis Winery (Tinos, Cyclades), paired with Zucchini sticks with bottarga powder and yogurt sauce. Next comes Assyrtiko-Zafiri Winery (Nemea, Peloponnese), paired with mini tarama tartlets with lemon zest and fresh valerian greens. From Santorini, we taste Santorini 34-Artemis Karamolegos Winery, with Traditional Greek vinegared octopus with olive oil. We end with Nykteri - Hatzidakis Winery (Santorini) paired with Fresh seabass tartare with peppery arugula and crisp radish, served in a
savory cone.
