Our driver/guide will pick you up at the NBO airport, hotel, or Airbnb accommodation, explain everything you need to know, and then we'll go on this safari together. Depart for Masai Mara and en route a brief stopover at the Great Rift Valley Viewpoint, where the horizon stretches infinitely, inviting awe.
Upon arrival, a warm welcome from your camp/lodge reception. After check-in and a gourmet lunch, relax, then proceed to an afternoon game drive that offers your first glimpse of the Mara, perhaps even the lion king on honeymoon. In the evening, return to your lodge before dinner and overnight.
Your day begins with an early morning breakfast. Rise with the sun, anticipation coursing through your veins, for an exhilarating morning game drive. Witness untamed drama of savannah, the Big Five- lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant roam freely against the backdrop of the skyline. Venture out again, the golden grasslands stretching before you like a canvas painted by the gods. Witness the Great Migration-millions of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. Enjoy a picnic lunch, sarrounded by savannah's symphony of sounds. In the evening, return to your lodge, freshen up, and savour a delicious dinner under the stars before retiring overnight. Optional bonfire storytelling or bush stargazing.
The Mara River traverses North to South, this course is a natural barrier crossed each year by the large migratory herds of wildebeest, Thomson's gazelles, and zebra, en route the crocodile-infested Mara River coupled with predatory cats amidst. This experience is often emphasized by our guides/driver and guests can also hike across the Mara River accompanied by armed park rangers.
Today, wake up to a relaxed breakfast, then summarise your safari adventure with a visit to the Masai Village nearby to learn firsthand about their culture and traditions. When you arrive at the homesteads, you can expect a warm welcome, excited children. You will be invited to try dancing and have the opportunity to interact with the Masai people right in their dwellings. Here you can dive into vibrant Maasai culture by shopping for colourful beadwork, fabrics and handicrafts at the Masai Market to take with you back home. Thereafter, depart for Nairobi, with a dropoff at your initial starting point.
