Your private driver will pick you up at 7:30am (flexible upon request) from Guilin Airport, Railway Station, or your downtown hotel. After a 50-minute scenic transfer, you'll board your Li River cruise—we highly recommend the 4-star deluxe boat (departing from Zhujiang Pier) for its spacious decks, buffet lunch, and premium service. Alternatively, standard 3-star boats depart from Mopanshan Pier. Your driver will assist with ticket collection before boarding.

2Li River
Your scenic Li River cruise lasts approximately 4 hours, arriving in Yangshuo around 1:30 PM. Gliding along the emerald waters, you'll be mesmerized by the breathtaking karst landscape—towering limestone peaks shaped like brushes, crowns, and grazing goats, while riverside bamboo groves and farmland paint a serene countryside scene. Highlights include the dramatic Nine-Horse Fresco, the iconic 20 RMB note backdrop at Yellow Cloth Shoal (Xingping), and the poetic transition from Guilin’s urban vistas to Yangshuo’s pastoral beauty. Exploring Yangshuo’s Charm and Countryside Upon disembarking in Yangshuo, you’ll have free time to explore its enchanting streets, including the famous West Street, where traditional and international cultures collide. Wander through shops selling embroidered silk fabrics, wax-painted textiles, and intricately designed women’s shoes, or stop by cafes and art galleries for a leisurely break. For those who prefer outdoor exploration, your guide will arrange bicycles for you to ride along one of Yangshuo’s most classic biking routes. Pedal through ancient villages, pastoral scenery, and along the banks of the Yulong River, where water buffaloes graze and stunning karst formations rise majestically against the sky. If you’d rather stay in Yangshuo, simply inform your guide in advance, and they’ll assist with directions to your accommodation.
