Exit the station. Meet up will be in front of the entrance.
Start your adventure with a scenic drive from Oslo, cruising through charming small towns, majestic mountain passes, and lush valleys. Along the way, you’ll have plenty of possibilities for chill pit stops to fuel up, grab a snack, stretch out, snap some photos, and take care of the essentials.
Your destination? The iconic village of Geiranger- where we will have a small break, grab a bite, snap photos, before heading to a prime hammock camping spot with front-row views of one of Norway’s most breathtaking and stunning landscapes.
Wake up to crisp mountain air and stunning fjord views, and fuel up with a slow, cosy camp breakfast. Once you’re ready, we’ll head out for a rewarding hike along one of Geiranger’s scenic trails. Expect sweeping views of the fjord, waterfalls cutting through the cliffs, and plenty of moments worth capturing. The hike is relaxed but scenic, giving you a chance to take it all in at your own pace.
After lunch at a picnic spot, the rest of the day is yours to explore. Wander through the small, postcard-perfect village of Geiranger, check out the nearby viewpoints, or grab a coffee and simply soak in the atmosphere. If you’re curious about local spots, nature, or life in Norway in general—your guide is always around, happy to assist, chat or answer any questions. Don’t be surprised if you end up deep in conversation about Norwegian legends or favourite hiking routes.
For those looking to add a little extra to the day, there are some optional (not included) activities you can try. Kayak hire is available if you fancy gliding across the fjord and getting up close to the towering cliffs and waterfalls. You could also visit the Norwegian Fjord Centre for a deeper dive into the area’s history and geology, or treat yourself to something from one of the local cafés or shops. If you’re feeling the call towards Valhalla, you can even take a dip in the fjord. Yes, it’s cold—very cold—but it might just be your inner Viking calling. It’s not for the faint-hearted, but it’s definitely a story to tell (and probably brag about to friends for years). Not feeling the call? Don’t worry—there’s no shame in that. Skip the adrenaline and just relax, jot a few thoughts in your journal, have a nap, sip some hot chocolate, or catch the sunset from a peaceful spot.
After exploring the village and the surroundings, it’s possible to prepare and make food. Do not forget to eat after an active day. At the end of the day you will be able to set camp, rest and enjoy the evening with stunning views. Whether you spend the afternoon adventuring, socialising, or simply enjoying the stillness, Day 2 is all about connecting—with nature, the place, and maybe even a few people. The choice is yours.
After a final breakfast by the fjord, we’ll pack up and begin the scenic drive back to Oslo. The return trip is part of the adventure—winding through dramatic valleys, quiet villages, and stunning mountain landscapes. Along the way, we’ll make relaxed stops to stretch, grab coffee or snacks, take photos, and soak in a few last views of Norway’s raw beauty. Depending on the pace, there may be time for a short detour or walk at a local viewpoint. It’s the perfect chance to reflect, share stories, or just enjoy the ride before rolling back into the city. at the end your guide will drop you off either where you were picked up or to another destination in Oslo.
