The CEC Palace is an imposing monument to start the running tour off. Built in the year 1900, this impressive building will mark the START and FINISH of the tour.
As we are going from the North side of Bucharest to the South side, we will cross a bridge over the main river of the city, Dâmbovița River. From here we will see The Court of Appeal, a palace built in the 1890s.
Together we will discover the true size and fascinating history of this Romanian Giant. Running around this imposing landmark will give us the opportunity to discover a few hidden gems.
As we explore the boulevard leading up to the Palace of Parliament, we will have the chance to enjoy all the beautiful water fountains that have earned Unirii Boulevard the world record for the longest string of synchronized water fountains.
