Cruise to the Famous Islamorada Sandbar
Come aboard for a fantastic cruise to the world-famous Islamorada Sandbar — the ultimate island escape!
We depart from Angler House Marina, tucked along the beautiful Gulf of Mexico, and enjoy a leisurely 30-minute cruise through the scenic Whale Harbor Channel. Along the way, keep your eyes out for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, tropical birds, and other amazing marine life.
Once we reach the sandbar, your Captain will anchor in the perfect spot for you to swim, float, or simply kick back and soak in the sun-drenched beauty of this crystal-clear paradise.
On the return trip, we’ll cruise past the Shell Keys, spot some classic lobster traps, and take in views of historic Lignumvitae Key — the highest natural point in the Florida Keys.

We are located at Safe Harbor Angler House Marina mile marker 80.5 first driveway south of Square Grouper on the bay side across US #1 from Midway Cafe. There is free parking at the marina.

We begin our adventure at Angler House Marina, located on the tranquil Florida bay. From there, we’ll enjoy a scenic 30-minute cruise through the beautiful waters of Whale Harbor Channel. Along the way, keep your eyes peeled for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, colorful fish, and a variety of coastal birds — nature lovers will be in paradise. Once we arrive at the sandbar, your Captain will anchor in the perfect spot for you to kick back, swim, float, or simply soak up the sun in the shallow, crystal-clear water. It’s your own slice of tropical heaven. On the return cruise, we’ll glide past the Shell Keys, spot lobster traps, and catch a glimpse of the historic Lignumvitae Key, the highest natural point in all of the Florida Keys.
