What's Included
Meeting and pickup
For this tour we will meet on the north east side of Centennial Hall, the side facing the Harbor (opposite the library). From there we will head down the dock ramp to the boat in Crescent Harbor.
What to expect
Led by emmy award winning wildlife filmmaker Ben Hamilton, you’ll explore Sitka Sound by boat, searching for whales, otters, puffins, and eagles while learning to capture motion and light in real time.
Practice techniques for composition and storytelling as you move between volcanic islands and quiet coves. A comfortable heated cabin keeps you warm between photo sessions, and guidance is tailored to every skill level.
Each day follows the best conditions for light, tide, and wildlife activity, creating a one-of-a-kind experience on Alaska’s wild coast.
