1Zhujiajiao Ancient Town
Meet your guide and driver at hotel lobby. Start your day trip with Zhujiajiao Water Town. Zhujiajiao is like a bright pearl hidden in the outskirts of Shanghai. The town is crisscrossed with numerous rivers and the water is like a smooth silk ribbon winding through every corner. Along the riverbanks, rows of ancient houses stand in an orderly manner. These houses are built in the typical Jiangnan style with black tile roofs and white washed walls. There are many bridges with different shapes and styles. The most famous one might be the Fangsheng Bridge. It is a large stone arch bridge that spans across the river majestically. Standing on the bridge, you can have a panoramic view of the whole town.

A residential area of Shanghai once designated for the French, the French Concession is popular with tourists and expats, and appreciated for its cafes, tree-lined avenues, and tudor houses.

3The Bund (Wai Tan)
