Start your day with an early breakfast before your driver-guide assists you in loading your luggage into the custom safari Land Cruiser. You'll then set off for Samburu, journeying through Kenya’s scenic landscapes. Upon arrival at our intimate safari camp, you’ll receive a warm welcome followed by a delicious lunch. Later in the afternoon, head out for your first game drive in the Samburu Reserve — a unique region known for its rare Northern species such as the elegant Gerenuk (often called the Journey Quest Safaris gazelle for its long neck), the Beisa Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe, Somali Ostrich, and the striking Grevy’s Zebra. Lake Nakuru is a haven of natural beauty, featuring lush forests, open plains, and dramatic viewpoints like Baboon Cliff and Lion Hill. The park is teeming with wildlife, including lions, Cape buffalo, warthogs, waterbuck, Rothschild’s giraffes, and both black and white rhinos. Leopards are occasionally spotted too. After breakfast, we check out of the lodge—though it's hard to believe, our incredible time in the bush has come to an end. We bid a warm farewell to the lodge manager and his wonderful team before departing for Nairobi. We leave with more than just luggage—memories and photographs that will forever capture the magic of this journey. You'll arrive at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in time for your flight to Mombasa. Upon landing, you’ll be met and transferred to your beach hotel, where you can unwind and enjoy some well-deserved relaxation by the coast.
