From lively squares to quiet streets, we’ll explore how this area has been shaped and reshaped by time—always evolving while preserving echoes of its past.
Along the way, you’ll hear about rulers, scientists, locals & foreigners who left their mark. Passing striking facades, an allegedly haunted palace, vibrant corners, & old shops—each offering a glimpse into Cairo’s complex and layered identity.

Meet at Mohamed Naguib metro stop (line 2), square, name: Mohamed Farid. 15 min walk OR 1 metro stop from Tahrir square I will meet you in front of Özil shop (in pink and white), recognize me pictur of me explaining. Please call or text if you get lost or need further directions
Ends at our first stop. Easy to access public transport, uber, taxi, or go to a cafe or restaurant.

We will end our tour 3 minutes away from where we started, at a place where it's easy to walk to your next activity, grab a bite, go to a bar or easily find transportation to your next destination. I will be more than happy to help you plan the rest of your day or give recommendations

- The tour mostly follows sidewalks, as much as Cairo’s infrastructure allows. At times, strollers may need to be lifted over curbs or around small obstacles — I'm happy to assist if needed. Guests using wheelchairs are very welcome, as long as you're comfortable with occasional help along the way.
