  Pyramids of Giza

  Your tour begins with pickup from your requested location by a licensed guide. If your hotel is outside the central area, a professional driver will handle the pickup instead. Once you arrive at the Giza Plateau, you will explore the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Your guide will share fascinating stories and historical facts about each pyramid and the pharaohs who built them. Next, you will visit the Valley Temple of Khafre, which was used for the mummification process and the ceremonial preparation of the king’s body. Finally, you will enjoy a close-up view of the Great Sphinx, a legendary statue with the body of a lion and the face of King Khafre, standing guard over the pyramids. Please note that entering the pyramids requires a separate ticket, and your guide will be happy to assist you with this if you wish to go inside.

  Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)

  Khufu’s Pyramid, also known as the Great Pyramid of Giza, is the only surviving wonder of the ancient Seven Wonders of the World. It held the record as the tallest man-made structure on Earth for over 3,800 years. The pyramid complex once included a valley temple, which is now buried beneath the modern village of Nazlet El-Samman. While the site has yet to be fully excavated, remains such as diabase paving and limestone walls have been discovered.   Khafre's Pyramid

  The second-highest pyramid in the Giza complex is dedicated to King Khafre, also known as Chefren. This pyramid complex is still remarkably well-preserved, offering a great opportunity to explore its key features. With your expert Egyptologist guide, you will visit the Valley Temple and the ancient causeway of King Khafre, learning about their historical and ceremonial significance.   Pyramid of Menkaure

  The smallest of the three main pyramids on the Giza Plateau, the Pyramid of Menkaure now stands at approximately 61 meters high. What makes this pyramid especially unique is the presence of its original granite casing, still visible on the lower portion. This granite was transported from Aswan, located over 1,000 kilometers south of Giza, a remarkable feat of ancient engineering. Your Egyptologist guide will explain the significance of the materials and construction techniques that set Menkaure’s pyramid apart from the others

  Panoramic View of the Pyramids

  Next, you will visit the panoramic viewpoint overlooking all six pyramids and the city of Giza. You will have around 30 minutes to take unforgettable photos and soak in the stunning scenery. This spot offers one of the best views of the plateau and is also a perfect place to enjoy an optional camel ride with the pyramids as your backdrop.

  Great Sphinx

  With the same entry ticket to the pyramids area, you will also enjoy a close-up visit to the iconic Great Sphinx, the guardian of the Giza Plateau, with the body of a lion and the face of King Khafre.
