One of the absolute BEST ways to enjoy a day of climbing in the Sandias. Your guides are locals and can point out all of the best features and other climbing spots along the way, while giving you the support and confidence to climb in a new environment.

Meet at the Sandia Tramway terminal. Ample parking is available. Your guide will meet you at the Ticket Desk upstairs.
End point
This activity ends back at the meeting point.
What to expect
Meet at the tram and enjoy a ride on one of the world's longest tramways. After arriving at the crest, you will enjoy an easy hike to one of the most classic routes in the Sandias, Estrellita. After a brief safety meeting, you and your guide will climb the route, then make the moderate hike back up to the Tram. If time allows, you can make an optional stop off at Ten 3 for snacks or drinks. Afterwards, you will ride back down the Tram and arrive back at your car.
