Step onto the world-famous Giza Plateau and stand in the shadow of the only surviving Wonder of the Ancient World. Your private Egyptologist guide will lead you around the three monumental structures: the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure. You will learn about the fascinating engineering techniques used over 4,500 years ago, the lives of the builders, and the profound religious significance of these royal tombs. Next, your private transport will take you to the famous Panoramic Viewpoint. This is the absolute best spot on the plateau to capture stunning, unobstructed photos of all three pyramids cutting through the desert horizon. Here, you will mount your camel for an authentic 20-to-30-minute trek across the sands (if you selected the option that includes camel ride), experiencing the landscape just as travelers did in antiquity.

Head down the plateau to stand face-to-face with the Great Sphinx, the enigmatic guardian of the necropolis featuring the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh (believed to represent King Khafre). Cut from a single massive ridge of limestone, it remains one of the largest and oldest monolithic statues on Earth. Before reaching the Sphinx itself, you will walk through the remarkably preserved Valley Temple. Your guide will explain how this grand stone structure was utilized for the intricate mummification and purification rituals (the "Opening of the Mouth" ceremony) before the pharaohs were laid to rest. This stop provides excellent close-up angles for photos with the Sphinx.
