Our first stop will take you to a place that seems suspended in the sky: the Tower of the Sun. After an ascending hike along the mountain trails, you will arrive at this impressive bamboo craft structure. It’s not just a gazebo; it’s a 360-degree balcony above the heart of the Sierra Nevada. We will arrive at the perfect time, when the golden light of the sunset begins to bathe the landscape. From here, your guide will help you to interpret the sacred geography that extends before your eyes: the blades of the mountains, the deep valleys and, on the horizon, the bright line of the Caribbean Sea merging with the sky. You’ll have plenty of time to breathe the fresh air, walk through the different levels of the tower and, of course, capture in photographs the spectacular color palette of the sunset. It is the magical prelude that prepares the spirit for the profound experience that will come next.

When the last sunlight fades, you will be guided to the heart of our experience. You will cease to be a spectator and become a welcome guest in a sacred circle of the Wiwa community. This is not a tourist show; it is a real time to share, facilitated by years of friendship and respect. Around the heat of a campfire, you will sit down to share the flavors of your land. Try traditional arepas and sip a warm cup of ceremonial cocoa. Then the silence will be broken by the ancestral sounds of your musical instruments. Through their songs and stories, your Wiwa hosts will share with you a small window into their cosmogony and worldview. It is a deep, respectful and incredibly moving cultural immersion that you will remember forever.
