  Deildartunguhver Thermal Spring

  Our first stop is the remarkable Deildartunguhver hot springs - Europe’s most powerful geothermal spring. With an impressive flow rate of 180 liters (47.6 gallons) per second, this intensely hot spring plays a key role in heating homes across the region. As we explore the geothermal area, you'll walk past steaming vents and bubbling pools, with water temperatures reaching a scorching 97°C (207°F) - a dramatic display of Iceland’s raw natural energy.

  Hraunfossar

  Next, we’ll visit two of the most stunning waterfalls in western Iceland, where you will also have time for lunch. First is Hraunfossar, a unique series of gentle cascades that seem to flow straight out of the lava field, forming a mesmerizing network of crystal-clear streams. Just a short walk away lies Barnafoss, a dramatic contrast with its powerful, twisting waters rushing through a narrow canyon. The vibrant pastel-blue water foams as it crashes through the rock—some say it looks like a churning blue milkshake! Both waterfalls originate from an ancient lava field formed thousands of years ago. Your guide will share the captivating myths tied to the area and offer fascinating insights into the geological forces behind Iceland’s awe-inspiring waterfalls.

  Langjokull Glacier

  If you select the Ice Tunnel activity you will ride a monster truck up Langjökull Glacier. The unique Langjökull Ice Tunnel is the largest of its kind in the world. You'll spend an hour exploring its frozen corridors, stopping off at the built-in chapel.

  If you select the Lava Cave activity you will get to visit the biggest lava cave in Iceland. It is easily accessible thanks to special paths and walkways and is suitable for the whole family. Amazement is guaranteed when you see the beautiful stalactites and stalagmites hanging from the ceiling.

  Husafell Canyon Baths

  If you select the Húsafell Canyon Baths activity you can soak in a warm geothermal pool in the middle of a canyon and recharge before the next stop.

  Sturlureykir Horses/Visiting HorseFarm

  We stop at the charming horse farm in Reykholt, where you'll meet the beloved Icelandic horses—known for their small stature, thick coats, and friendly nature. You'll have the opportunity to pet and feed these gentle animals, and the knowledgeable staff will share fascinating facts about this unique breed. Don’t forget to snap a few memorable photos! Afterwards, we’ll hop back on the minibus for one last scenic drive through the Icelandic countryside. We’ll arrive back in Reykjavík by early evening, where you’ll be dropped off at your original pick-up location.
