We'll begin with a swift and easy pick up from one of our designated pick up locations throughout the Reykjavík area. From here, we'll head towards the south coast over volcanic landscapes and stunning mountain scenery.
Our first stop is head is Kerið volcanic crater, a striking crater filled with a vivid blue lake and framed by steep slopes. Take an easy walk around the rim, where every angle offers a new view of the surrounding landscape and the water below.
We'll continue on to Gullfoss, one of Iceland’s most iconic waterfalls. Watch as glacial waters from Langjökull, Iceland’s second-largest glacier, plummet into the depths below. Whether you visit in summer, winter, spring, or fall, Gullfoss never fails to be mesmerizing.
Next, visit the Geysir Geothermal Area, home to Iceland’s most famous geysers. Watch Strokkur erupt every few minutes, shooting boiling water high into the air. Stroll among bubbling water pools, clear geothermal springs, and steam vents.
We'll then relax in the warm waters of the newly renovated Laugarvatn Fontana baths, just on the edge of the lake Laugarvatn. Enjoy the healing powers of the natural steam baths and outdoor geothermally heated swimming baths.
Our final stop takes us to to Thingvellir National Park, where you’ll walk between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Learn about the park’s history and take in the stunning landscapes.
