Meeting and pickup
Pick up begins at your selected start time. Please note the pick up process can take up to 30 minutes - thank you in advance for your patience.
We only serve the pick-up locations specified in our pick-up list. Due to traffic restrictions, we are not allowed to pick up from hotels in the city center nor from private Air BnBs. If your pick-up location is not on our pick-up list then we kindly ask you to find the closest pick-up point to your accommodation from our list.
What to expect
Your day begins with pickup in Reykjavík for a scenic drive along the South Coast. Your guide will lead you to Iceland's most dramatic landscapes:
- Iconic Waterfalls: Feel the spray of the powerful Skógafoss waterfall and walk behind the cascade of Seljalandsfoss.
- Black Sand Beach: Witness the beauty of Reynisfjara, with its jet-black sand, towering basalt columns, and crashing Atlantic waves.
- Guided Glacier Hike: Gear up for an adventure on Sólheimajökull. A certified glacier guide will lead your small group across the rugged terrain, exploring blue ice formations & deep crevasses
Break: After the South Coast journey, you will be dropped off in Reykjavík for a scheduled break to relax, grab dinner, and recharge before the evening hunt begins.
Part 2: Northern Lights Hunt
As night falls, we pick you up again to chase the Aurora Borealis. We escape the city lights and drive to locations with the best chances for clear skies. With the right solar conditions, watch as the Northern Lights dance across the Arctic sky in brilliant, colours.
Return to Reykjavík late at night with a mind full of incredible memories from the land of fire and ice.

- This is a combo tour of 2 different tours, a south coast sightseeing tour with a glacier walk and a hunt for the Northern Lights. You are dropped of at your original pickup point in Reykjavik in between tours.
- The northern lights are a natural phenomena, and as such can not be guaranteed. The success of the northern lights tour is heavily dependent on weather conditions, the operator reserves the right to cancel this part of the tour until 18:15 on the day of departure. If the tour goes ahead and no northern lights are seen we offer you the chance to join another evening´s departure free of charge upon availability. Note: you must contact the operator to rebook.
