What to expect

Your adventure begins with pickup in Reykjavík, followed by a scenic drive along Iceland’s stunning South Coast. Stop at Skógafoss, a powerful 60-meter waterfall, where you can walk up close or climb the stairs for panoramic views.

Next, gear up for a guided glacier hike on Sólheimajökull, where a certified guide leads you across blue ice formations, deep crevasses, and rugged terrain, offering insight into this ever-changing frozen world.

Then, visit Reynisfjara, Iceland’s famous black sand beach, with its towering basalt columns, sea stacks, and crashing waves creating an unforgettable landscape.

As night falls, escape the city lights to hunt for the Northern Lights. With the right conditions, watch as the Aurora Borealis dances across the sky in brilliant colors.

  • This is a combo tour of 2 different tours, a south coast sightseeing tour with a glacier walk and a hunt for the Northern Lights. You are dropped of at your original pickup point in Reykjavik in between tours.

The success of the northern lights tour is heavily dependent on weather conditions, the operator reserves the right to cancel this part of the tour until 18:15 on the day of departure. If the tour goes ahead and no northern lights are seen we offer you the chance to join another evening´s departure free of charge upon availability. Note: you must contact the operator to rebook.
