This is a private three-day Maasai Mara safari designed to give travelers time to experience the reserve rather than rush through it. Your own safari vehicle and driver-guide give you flexibility to shape the day around your interests, whether that means an extended game drive or a slower rhythm with time back at your accommodation. Day 1 includes an afternoon game drive on arrival, Day 2 gives you a full day in the Mara, and Day 3 offers a final opportunity for wildlife viewing as you leave the reserve. The experience can also be enhanced with optional additions such as a hot-air balloon safari, Maasai cultural experience, sundowner or bush meal, subject to availability. It is a simple way to experience one of Kenya's iconic wildlife destinations with more time, privacy and flexibility than a rushed day visit.

    Your private safari begins with pickup from your Nairobi hotel or agreed meeting point. Travel towards the Maasai Mara by private safari vehicle, with the journey taking several hours depending on traffic and road conditions. It's will also be a good change to enjoy the changing landscapes and make short stops for photographing the breathtaking views. After arriving at your accommodation, have lunch and settle in before heading out for your first afternoon game drive. Begin exploring the Mara's open grasslands and wildlife-rich areas as the afternoon cools.

    Start the day with breakfast before heading into the reserve for your main safari experience. Spend the day exploring the Mara with your private vehicle and professional driver-guide, looking for elephants, lions, cheetahs, buffalo, giraffes, zebras and other wildlife. You can also start the morning with a balloon safari, before heading for breakfast. Enjoy an extended game drive with a picnic lunch or return to your accommodation between morning and afternoon drives, depending on your preferred pace and the arrangements for the day. The afternoon can be spent on optional activities like relaxing at the hotel, visiting the Maasai Mara communities, or taking a walking safari with a guide. Continue to Nairobi by private vehicle, with arrival expected in the late afternoon or early evening depending on traffic and road conditions.
