Follow the Google Maps pin - it takes you to the door. We are in a 1930s heritage house on Al Farazdaq Street, Jabal Al-Lweibdeh, set back from the road. Look for the stone building with the Gilgamesh sign. If you cannot find us, call or WhatsApp +962 79 809 8773 and we will come out to you.
What to expect
Step into the creative world of Japanese pottery with a hands-on Kurinuki workshop in the heart of Amman. Guided by an experienced ceramic artist, you’ll learn the traditional Japanese technique of carving clay to shape a unique vessel.
What you’ll do:
Begin with an introduction to Kurinuki and the Japanese Wabi-Sabi philosophy, which celebrates imperfection and natural beauty.
Choose your clay block and carve it into a cup, bowl, or small vessel using simple hand tools.
Explore textures, patterns, and forms that reflect your personal style.
Enjoy a welcoming artistic atmosphere with snacks and drinks included.
At the end, you’ll leave with your own handmade creation – a one-of-a-kind ceramic piece that carries the story of your hands.
