Historic atmosphere – peaceful setting with cobblestones, old houses, and views toward Prague Castle. It’s a serene spot with religious, architectural, and historical significance.
The name Pohořelec in Prague comes from the Czech word "pohořet", which means "to burn down". Today, Pohořelec is a peaceful square with historical buildings, cafés, and a gateway to Petřín Hill and Strahov Monastery, but its name still reflects its fiery past.
