This private tour starts at the Anne Frank House, where we stop outside to hear her story and take photos of this powerful landmark.
We continue through the Canal Belt (Grachtengordel), a UNESCO-listed 17th-century area known for its elegant canals and wealthy merchant houses, while I share stories about Amsterdam’s Golden Age.
Next, we try a freshly made Dutch stroopwafel before exploring the charming Jordaan district, including a hidden hofje, a peaceful courtyard away from the crowds.

Hans Egstorf is one of Amsterdam's well-known places to try a freshly made Dutch stroopwafel. Here, you'll watch this traditional treat being prepared and enjoy a warm stroopwafel with its soft caramel syrup filling. It's the perfect opportunity to taste one of the Netherlands' most famous sweets while exploring Amsterdam.
The Canal Belt (Grachtengordel) is Amsterdam's historic 17th-century canal district and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known for its beautiful canals, grand houses built for wealthy merchants during the Dutch Golden Age, and iconic bridges, it's one of the city's most scenic areas and a perfect place to learn about Amsterdam's history while taking memorable photos.
The Jordaan district is one of Amsterdam’s most charming neighborhoods, known for its narrow streets, canals, and cozy local atmosphere. Once a working-class area, it has transformed into a lively district filled with cafés, small boutiques, and hidden courtyards. During our tour, we’ll go to a classical brown cafe to enjoy Dutch drinks and snacks. Also, we’ll explore a traditional hofje — a peaceful hidden courtyard that once provided housing for elderly residents, offering a quiet glimpse into the city’s past away from the busy streets.
Anne Frank House is the historic canal house where Anne Frank and her family hid during the Second World War. Although we won't enter the museum, we'll visit the outside of the house, learn about its history, and you can take photos of one of Amsterdam's most meaningful landmarks.
Brouwersgracht is one of Amsterdam’s most beautiful canals, often called the “Brewers Canal” because of the beer breweries that once stood here. Today, it’s lined with elegant canal houses, old warehouses, and houseboats, showing a perfect mix of history and everyday life.
At the end of the tour, we’ll visit a traditional Dutch brown café where you can relax and enjoy a local beer, jenever, and classic Dutch snacks.
