The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest pyramid in Giza plateu and largest pyramid, built for Pharaoh Khufu around 2580 BC. It originally stood 146 meters tall and was made of about 2.3 million limestone blocks. It served as Khufu’s royal tomb and is the only surviving wonder of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.
The Second Pyramid of Giza, also known as the Pyramid of Khafre, was built for King Khafre, the son of Khufu. It stands slightly smaller than the Great Pyramid but appears taller because it is built on higher ground and still retains some of its original smooth casing stones at the top.
The Smallest Pyramid of Giza is the Pyramid of Menkaure, built for King Menkaure, the grandson of Khufu. It is about 65 meters high, much smaller than the pyramids of Khufu and Khafre, but unique because its lower part was built using red granite, giving it a distinctive look. Beside it are three smaller “queen’s pyramids.” Even though it’s the smallest, it shows fine craftsmanship and is an important part of the Giza pyramid complex.
The Panoramic View at the Giza Plateau is a famous spot where visitors can see the three pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure together in one line. From this viewpoint, tourists can capture the best photos of the entire pyramid complex, with the desert stretching in the background. It’s one of the highlights of any Giza tour because it gives a full picture of the majesty of ancient Egypt in a single frame. Note : Available Camel ride , horse or horse carriage at panoramic view
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a massive limestone statue with the body of a lion and the head of King Khafre. It is about 73 meters long and 20 meters high, making it the largest and oldest known monumental sculpture in the world. The Sphinx was built to guard the pyramids and symbolize strength, wisdom, and protection. It sits right next to Khafre’s pyramid and the Valley Temple, creating one of the most iconic scenes of ancient Egypt.
