  Your adventure begins right out of Tozeur with an immediate off-piste immersion. Driving your Suzuki Jimny, you quickly leave the road to enter the rocky desert. This first section is specially designed as an initiation phase: varied terrain, light sand, small dunes and rolling tracks. You learn to control your vehicle in a secure environment, while enjoying the first feelings of off-road driving. Along the way, the landscapes become increasingly wild, alternating between sandy areas and rocky passages. You then reach Lake Chamsa, a little known and preserved place in the heart of the desert.   Chott el Gharsa

  After Lake Chamsa, the route becomes wilder and more spectacular. You progress on varied tracks, always accessible, between rocks, sand and relief, to perfect your driving safely. Desert crossing & rally track Along the way you reach the vast expanses of Chott el Gharsa. A highlight of the experience: crossing a salt lake open horizon feeling of freedom You then take portions of tracks used during rallies in the area. Sensations guaranteed: long desert lines typical off-road terrain Dakar atmosphere Landscapes & cinema On the road: wild scenery, secluded spots and locations for films like The English Patient and Indiana Jones.   After crossing Chott el Gharsa, you reach one of the emblematic sites of the Tunisian desert: Ong Jmal. Located on the edge of the chott, this spectacular place offers a unique contrast between salty expanses, sand dunes and rock formations. Nicknamed “the camel’s neck”, Ong Jmal is a natural formation that dominates the desert landscape. A briefing is conducted before entering this area to explain the basics of driving on sand and ensure a smooth and safe experience.
