This is where you’ll be introduced to local life. You’ll learn about the Djerbian way of life, architecture, weddings, the economy, and much more! The visit will take at least an hour
the oldest Jewish synagogue in North Africa, where you’ll have time to visit with your guide. I must mention that at the entrance, you’ll need to remove your shoes and cover your head (hats and scarves are provided on-site).

we will go to the fish market in Houmt Souk, where you’ll be introduced to the rare method of fish sales known as "à la criée" (auction-style)! Visit the market, and your guide will choose the freshest fish of the day for you. Then, in the nearby restaurant, the owner will grill it for you and serve it at your table, along with a nice Tunisian salad and fries.
Follow your guide as you stroll through the alleys of Houmt Souk. Discover the old caravanserais, also known as “Fondouks,” and learn more about the caravan traders! Visit the spice market and the covered souk, where you can find everything you need for shopping and souvenirs!
At the end of the day, head to Djerba Explore and take your time to visit these 3 attractions! Start with the Lella Hadhria Museum, the Heritage module, and of course, the crocodile park!
