Through travel Jordan will have no more secrets for you
An agent of our agency will meet you at the airport, to make you visas, you find him with a sign taking your name
You have arrived in Amman, where half the Jordanian population lives. A representative will assist you in obtaining the visa. After your luggage is collected, head to your Inn in Amman with your driver. The rest of the day is free so you can recover from your trip.
After Breakfast, your first visit today takes you to Al-Salt, a hilltop town, about a 40-minute drive from Amman. The city has many old yellow limestone buildings, as well as small narrow streets full of shops and stalls. It is also an example of good understanding between the local Muslim and Christian populations. Take a walk on the "Harmony Trail" to learn more about the city and local life in Jordan. You can also have lunch at home to taste delicious Jordanian cuisine. Then drive to Iraq el amir for the visit of the women's association of Iraq el amir , and the remains of small castles of Iraq el amir , back to amman for dinner and overnight
After Breakfast, you leave Amman to take the Road of Kings to southern Jordan, through wadi, olive groves, rural villages and farmland. On your way to Madaba, you will visit the Orthodox Church of St. George. Then you head to Mount Nebo, Moses’ burial site, which offers spectacular views of the Holy Land. You continue south before stopping at Shobak Castle, a fortress built by the Crusaders in the twelfth century that offers spectacular views of the surrounding hills and plains.
After little Petra, you explore the famous Nabataean site of Petra. You will start the tour of the site at the back entrance and arrive, after a walk in the mountain, in front of the famous monastery. This trail saves you from climbing the 800 steps and allows you to be the only ones in front of the monastery. Once in Petra, you will notice that there are very few independent buildings: the Nabataeans preferred to carve their houses in the pink sandstone cliffs. The tour then takes you to the Khazneh, one of Petra’s most elaborate temples. You will be guided through the city before having free time to visit at your own pace.
Inn Breakfast and Check-out to the Wadi Rum Desert. If Petra is the result of human labor combined with that of nature, the cliffs, peaks and valleys of Wadi Rum owe only to themselves their serene beauty and overwhelming grandeur. We will take a jeep safari through the beautiful desert landscape, discovering more steep cliffs and strange rock formations. Lunch in a Bedouin camp. Tonight, you will sleep in the desert of Wadi Rum, in a Bedouin atmosphere.
After breakfast transfer to the Dead Sea, where we will live a strange but fun experience: "floating" on the surface of the water, due to the salt content, nine times that of ordinary seawater. Free Day for Things to Do in a Luxury Inn with its own private beach on the Dead Sea.
After Breakfast, Check-out for a visit to Jerash or Gerasa, arguably one of the best preserved Roman cities in the Near East. After Petra, Jerash is the second largest tourist destination in Jordan. Our local Guide will take you on a tour of Jerash. Then return to Amman the ancient, known once as Philadelphia, one of the cities of the Roman decapolis. You can discover its theatres, colonnades, the Temple of Hercules, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Traditions and the Folklore Museum as well as the New Town of Amman.
