Nairobi – Maasai Mara via the Great Rift Valley Your journey begins with a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, offering sweeping views of escarpments, volcanic formations, and distant lakes. From here, you descend into the Mara region, arriving in time for lunch at a comfortable budget tented camp such as Rhino Tourist Camp or a similar option provided by Perfect Wilderness or Perfect Eva World. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive (4:00 PM – 6:00 PM) across the golden savannahs of Maasai Mara, where you’ll have a chance to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and perhaps the elusive leopard. Return to camp for a warm dinner and an overnight stay under the starry African skies, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

Full Day Game Drive in Maasai Mara Wake up early to the sounds of nature and enjoy breakfast at camp before setting out on a full-day game drive across the Maasai Mara National Reserve. With picnic lunch boxes provided, you’ll explore deeper into the park, following the tracks of Africa’s Big Five – lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. The vast savannahs also host cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide variety of birdlife. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, one of the world’s most spectacular wildlife events. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic spot inside the park before continuing your safari adventure into the afternoon. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
