The Neighborhood Life Tour in Gethsemane is a cultural and community experience to get to know the neighborhood from your daily life. On a walking tour of streets, squares and heritage corners, visitors learn stories, anecdotes and characters that have built Gethsemane’s identity.
The tour is guided by a local inhabitant, who shares stories from daily life as they walk the alleys of the neighborhood. During the tour you will visit the Project La Resistencia, a community space where you will talk about gentrification and the current challenges of the neighborhood.     Meeting point and social heart of the neighborhood. Here begins the tour with an introduction to the daily life of Gethsemane, its community dynamics and its historical importance within Cartagena.

    Travelers walk through the streets, squares and alleys of Gethsemane accompanied by a local inhabitant of the neighborhood. During the tour they learn stories, characters and dynamics of daily life, visit the La Resistencia Project to understand the changes of the neighborhood and the process of gentrification, and end with a typical refreshment and musical experience in the Carpenter Club.
