Meeting and pickup
The minibus does pickup from different locations and will arrive anytime within 10 minutes before or after the scheduled pickup time. Please ensure you are waiting outside your designated pickup location no later than the scheduled pickup time. We will arrive shortly, with the exact time depending on the sequence of pickup locations for this tour. If you do not show up for the pickup, you will be charged 100% of the cost. Make sure that you have entered valid phone number in your reservation as we will try to call you from a Swedish phone number (+4670XXXXXXX) in case we cannot find you.
What to expect
Your guide meets you in Kiruna before we head north, making aurora-hunting stops at handpicked viewpoints chosen for clear skies and open horizons.
When we arrive, you’ll meet the reindeer in a calm winter setting and have the chance to feed them by hand – an essential part of their care during the harsh Arctic months. This is not a show, but real Sámi life shared with you.
You’ll learn about traditions, reindeer herding and what it means to grow up with these animals, through stories passed down for generations.
Afterwards, we warm up inside a traditional Sámi hut with a fire, a hot drink and a sweet snack while you relax and take in the silence of the north.
On the way back to Kiruna, we continue searching for northern lights with extra stops whenever the sky opens.
