What to expect

We will start at Kennedy Park, where we will briefly learn about the history of Miraflores before heading to the Surquillo Market, one of Lima's main gastronomic markets. We will tour their stalls and learn about Peruvian ingredients, then we will visit the gastronomic corridor of Surquillo where several exclusive and curated restaurants coexist where we will taste leche de tigre, tiradito with yellow aji, northern rice with seafood, apaltado ceviche, picante cabo blanco, pisco sour, and Peruvian coffee. At each stop we will explain the origin of the dish, its ingredients, and its preparation, discovering how the tradition and diversity of Peru meet in Lima's cuisine.
