What to expect

Experience the thrill of catching your first wave in Essaouira — Morocco’s surf paradise!
This beginner-friendly surf class is designed for total newcomers who want to learn safely, have fun, and enjoy the beauty of the ocean.

Here’s what you’ll do during your 2-hour session:
1. Welcome & Preparation: Meet your certified instructor at Bleuryde Watersports Center or enjoy pickup from your hotel. Get equipped with a surfboard and wetsuit, followed by a short safety briefing.
2. Warm-up & Beach Theory: Learn basic surf theory, paddling, and the “pop-up” technique on the sand before entering the water.
3. In-Water Practice: Head into the waves under the close supervision of your instructor. Catch your first waves, practice standing up, and enjoy personalized coaching.
4. Relaxation & Tea Break: Take a short rest on the beach and enjoy Moroccan mint tea or mineral water.
5. Second Surf Session: Return to the water to refine your skills, improve balance, and ride longer waves.
6. Wrap-Up: Back on the beach, get personal feedback, and take great photos to remember your surf adventure in Essaouira.
