Meeting and pickup
Guests can find their guide at the main entrance of the Tianzifang Scenic Area, near the sign that says “Tianzifang”. The guide will be waiting there with a staff badge clearly labeled with our company name.
What to expect
You’ll begin with a warm welcome and a brief introduction to traditional tea-making tools and customs. Then, your host will guide you through the six main types of Chinese tea — green, white, yellow, oolong, black (red), and dark (pu’er) — explaining how each is made and what makes its flavor unique.
You’ll watch a live demonstration of classic brewing techniques using a gaiwan or small teapot, and learn how water temperature, timing, and multiple infusions affect taste and aroma.
As you taste and compare the teas, you’ll notice the color, fragrance, and mouthfeel of each, deepening your understanding of their differences. Along the way, your host will share stories of tea culture and philosophy, adding meaning to every sip.
To finish, enjoy time for questions and perhaps select your favorite tea to take home — with a special in-store discount available on the day.
