Experience the wild beauty of Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and oldest wildlife reserve, on this all-inclusive full-day safari. Travel in a private 4x4 jeep with a driver who also serves as your guide. Explore forests, open plains, and natural lakes (villus), spotting leopards, elephants, sloth bears, deer, and over 200 species of birds. The tour includes hotel pickup and drop-off from Anuradhapura or Hunuwilagama, park entrance fees, breakfast, snacks, and bottled water. Pickup is available from hotels and guesthouses in Anuradhapura and Hunuwilagama.
Guests will be collected 1 hour before the tour start time if it's from Anuradhapura. 15 min before if it's from Hunuwilagama meeting point.
Your driver/guide or tour operator will contact you the evening before to confirm exact pickup time and location.
If your accommodation is outside the standard pickup area, please contact us in advance for arrangements.
Pickup and drop-off are included in the tour price.
Head towards the pinned location, find Leesha Restaurant (small shop with a hut). Your driver will be meeting you there. Please arrive 10 min before tour start time.

1Wilpattu National Park
You will be picked up from your hotel at 5:00 AM and taken to Wilpattu National Park for your full-day safari. Enter the park at 6:00 AM, the best time for wildlife viewing, with high chances of spotting Wilpattu’s legendary leopards along with elephants, sloth bears, deer, crocodiles, and many bird species. Enjoy your packed breakfast around 7:30 AM at a safe rest area inside the park (timing can be adjusted to your preference). Continue exploring Wilpattu’s unique landscape of lakes, dense forest, and coastal wilderness. At 12:30 PM, pause for lunch surrounded by nature (flexible timing). Afterward, resume your afternoon safari, covering new trails and maximizing wildlife sightings. At 5:00 PM, conclude your safari and head back to your hotel after a memorable day in Sri Lanka’s largest national park.
