  Maasai Mara National Reserve

  Set off early from Nairobi for an unforgettable day safari to Kenya’s most iconic wildlife reserve the Maasai Mara. Your adventure begins with a 4:00 AM pickup from your hotel or residence, followed by a scenic drive through the Great Rift Valley with views of escarpments, sunrise-lit hills, and Maasai villages along the way. Arrive at the Maasai Mara by late morning and begin your game drive right away. Explore the vast, wildlife-rich plains of the reserve in a safari vehicle. Your guide will lead you across the best wildlife viewing routes in search of the Big Five. Midday, enjoy a packed picnic lunch in a safe, scenic spot within the reserve, soaking in the atmosphere of the wild. After lunch, continue with a second round of game viewing across different areas of the park to maximize your chances of sightings. You’ll also have the option to visit a traditional Maasai village In the afternoon, begin your journey back to Nairobi with drop off at your hotel between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM.
