Experience Guangzhou as a local on this full-day private tour, exploring its most authentic spaces such as Shamian Island, Chen Clan Ancestral Hall, Yongqingfang and the panoramas of the Pearl River with the Canton Tower. My approach is different: it is not superficial tourism, but real experiences, from tea culture to traditional flavours and daily life in the city. In the end, you will take genuine memories and a real connection to the essence of Guangzhou.

The first stop will be the Chen Clan Academy, known for its art in wood, stone and ceramic carvings. It is one of the best examples of traditional Lingnan architecture and a perfect place to learn about the history of the ancient families of Guangdong.
Then we will visit Shamian Island, an area with European-style buildings that reflects foreign influence during the 19th century. We will walk quietly observing the colonial architecture, the cafes and the classic atmosphere of the island.
We will go to Yongqingfang, a newly renovated neighborhood that retains the old style but with modern touches. Here you can see local shops, handicrafts and the daily life of Cantonese in a historic space. Enjoy a Cantonese Opera Experience At noon we will enjoy a local modern drink, such as a special tea or a mixture of tea with fruits, to get to know the contemporary culture of Guangzhou and its current lifestyle.
Then we will visit the Temple of the Six Bananas (Dafo Temple), a spiritual place full of calm where you can appreciate the Buddhist tradition in the city. From there we will walk to Beijing Road, one of the oldest and most renowned shopping streets, famous for its layers of historical remains visible under the glass floor.
This road a part of the way there was trace of the history of the silk road
At night we will see Guangzhou Tower from the outside, enjoying its lights and the nightlife of the city by the river. The visit will not be rushed; there will be time for photos and to feel the vibrant atmosphere of Guangzhou illuminated.
