A breathtaking expanse of hypersaline water fringed by lush palm groves and golden dunes. This lake is famous for its high concentration of salt, which often creates a sparkling white "crust" along the shore that looks like snow.

Black Desert
A dramatic, "Hades-like" landscape where thousands of cone-shaped hills are covered in black volcanic dolerite. These mounds are the remnants of ancient volcanic activity, creating a stark, moody contrast against the orange sand dunes.

Not actually a mountain, but a rare geological ridge formed by a massive "paleokarst" cave that collapsed millions of years ago. It is famous for its natural quartz and calcite crystals that sparkle brilliantly under the Egyptian sun.
