The second part of the Le Morne Brabant guided hike is more challenging, with steeper rocky sections and short scrambling where you’ll use your hands. Your guide shows safe foot placements, supports you on technical parts, and ensures no one is rushed or left behind. This is a small-group hike focused on safety.
Along the way, your guide shares the story that gives this mountain its soul. Le Morne was once a refuge for maroons: enslaved people who escaped plantations and hid in the cliffs.

With a little bit of luck, the Underwarter Waterfall also can be seen from the top of the mountain. This Hike is not an easy one, with some difficult and tricky path.
