    Your adventure begins at 3:30 PM with pickup in Puerto Maldonado. From there, travel to the MADAMA Community, home to the picturesque Yacumama Lake. Known for its beautiful sunsets, the lake is an excellent place to observe a variety of Amazon wildlife. Depending on seasonal and natural conditions, visitors may spot macaws, parrots, parakeets, black caimans, herons, cormorants, wild ducks, swallows, and several species of piranhas. Occasionally, river otters can also be seen.

    Upon arrival, board a traditional rowboat and navigate across the calm waters of the lake to an area commonly used for piranha fishing. Your guide will introduce the traditional fishing methods used in the region and provide the necessary equipment for the activity. After each catch, participants have the opportunity to observe the fish before it is carefully returned to the lake, supporting local conservation practices and the natural balance of the ecosystem. At approximately 6:00 PM, begin the return journey to Puerto Maldonado, concluding this Amazon nature experience.
